  • cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese, such as Cracker Barrel
  • cup seasoned croutons
  • cup creamy Caesar dressing, such as Kraft

Directions

Step 1: Arrange the chopped romaine lettuce evenly on four serving plates.

Step 2: Place the sliced chicken strips on top of the lettuce.

Step 3: Sprinkle the finely shredded Parmesan cheese over the chicken.

Recipe Tip

You can replace the chicken with sliced, cooked steak for a different flavor profile.

I have been scared to make Caesar salad because I saw anchovies in so.e recipes, and I didn't think I could pull this off. I loved this simple recipe. It turned out so good that we had no leftovers. Now, I don't have to just order out my Caesar salad, I can make it at home.

Great Caesar salad recipe! Almost every ingredient I used came from the supermarket; nothing was made from scratch as I wanted this to be quick & easy. -- When cooking the chicken breasts (I had one breast per person + one for the bowl) I added (per another review) some Italian seasoning and some shredded Parmesan... could have served the chicken 'as is' at that point, sans salad... yes, they were *that* good! -- I'm not a salad-dressing- or crouton-maker, so I used my old standbys, Cardini's Caesar Dressing, and Texas Toast Garlic & Butter Croutons (gawd, they're HUGE!). Perfect! I went back for seconds but my adult son had cleared the bowl before I got there. Definitely a winner!

I made this for myself this evening. It was great and I ate a huge salad with an air fried chicken breast. I will make this again. I didn't deviate much from the recipe. I added green onion, Rene Caesar salad dressing, bacon bits, and sliced almonds.

This is a great way to use up leftover chicken. I placed the lettuce and dressing in a large bowl and tossed all till combined. From there portioned onto plates and placed a sliced grilled Chicken breast on top. Sprinkled with a little more cheese and homemade croutons. Definitely a very simple recipe.. But sometimes you need that inspiration for dinner or lunch! My only suggestion is to use your favourite Caesar dressing whether it be homemade or a not.. As that really will make or break the dish.

It looks like most of the reviews are fake,I’ve tried the recipe and it’s okay but normal chicken Caesar salads take 40m-1hr to prepare

Pretty good, love a Caesar salad. Used thighs instead of breasts. Tried Kraft's caesar dressing, not a fan so I will definitely try a different brand or make my own next time.
