It was so delicious, my husband, kids, and I loved it! I used mayo in place of sour cream (forgot to get at store :( ). Only minor thing, it doesn't tell you in the directions to take the cooked tots from the bottom of the pan, so I ended up putting sour cream mix on top of those and then had to cook another layer of tots on top at 425 degrees. BUT, it actually was good to have the kinda burnt, crispy tots on bottom. I can't wait to actually try it with sour cream lol.

It was a hit with the family and friends. However, I did use the Hidden Valley Ranch Buttermilk Chicken instead of the regular ranch mix as I was out of the regular, but it was amazing.

I would maybe take the 2/3 cup of ranch off or make it less unless you like a really ranch flavor

I made a half this recipe. But used a whole can of cream of chicken soup. It was rich I would do less cheese and bacon next time. It’s a very rich dish. I agree with the other post it’s really salty. I never put salt in the dish only pepper.

I followed this recipe to the T, but unfortunately it came out extremely salty. Maybe take out the ranch seasoning packet if you try this out.
