- 1 cup crushed buttery round cracker crumbs
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- teaspoon garlic salt
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- cup butter, cut into pieces
Directions
- Gather all ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 375F (190C).
- Place the cracker crumbs and eggs into two separate shallow bowls.
- Mix the cracker crumbs with garlic salt and pepper in the first bowl.
- Dip the chicken breasts into the beaten eggs, ensuring they are fully coated, then dredge them in the cracker crumb mixture to coat evenly.
- Arrange the coated chicken breasts in a 9x13-inch baking dish, making sure they are spaced evenly.
- Scatter the butter pieces around the chicken in the dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches at least 165F (74C).
- Remove from the oven and serve hot. Enjoy!
