3-Ingredient Boursin Cheese Pasta Recipe
Ingredients
This recipe is originally designed to serve 8. Ingredient quantities adjust automatically for different yields, but cooking steps and times remain the same. Note that not all recipes scale perfectly.
- 1 pound angel hair pasta
- 1 (5.2 ounce) package garlic and herb cheese spread (such as Boursin)
- cup grape tomatoes, sliced (optional)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- cup reserved pasta water, or as needed
Directions
Step 1: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil.
Step 2: Add the angel hair pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender but still firm to the bite, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 3: Drain the pasta, reserving about cup of the cooking water for later use.
Step 4: Pour cup of the reserved pasta water into a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and herb cheese, whisking continuously until it becomes a smooth, creamy sauce.
Step 5: Stir in the sliced grape tomatoes and cook for no more than 2 minutes to lightly warm them.
Step 6: Add the cooked pasta back into the sauce, tossing gently to coat evenly. Use additional reserved pasta water if needed to achieve your desired consistency.
Step 7: Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley if desired.

I doubled the sauce. It's fine as is for a side dish, quick and easy. With the leftovers, I added some cream cheese and chicken to make it a main course.

Wow! Super easy and surprisingly delicious given the limited ingredients!! Used 1/2 lb rotini noodles vs angel hair, 2 roma tomatoes vs grape and added a small can of sliced mushrooms at the same time as the tomatoes. I absolutely think if made as written would be just as great but it’s awesome to find a recipe that you can swap similar ingredients and get the same, great results. We LOVED this! Served with Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin. We liked so much I would make as a main dish, as a side dish or even a heartier dish by adding some chicken or shrimp. Thank you thedailygourmet! And kudos! 👏

I roasted the tomatoes in the oven at 400 for 20 min with some olive oil and s+p. Next time I'll add even more tomatoes -didn't use a whole lb of pasta. Would probably need to add more cheese if I did. This was good!

This recipe is very good as is. Made it for 2 people and as a side for veal chops...It was very good. I might need to add a bit more boursin to get it creamier. Be mindful about it and do not let it dry up. Remove it immediately from the heating source as soon as your tomatoes warm up! I sprinkled some dried oregano and it added an extra aroma and flavor to it. Will make it again

Needed way more sauce!! The flavor is good. I only used 1/2 package of angel air n it doesn't hardly have any sauce on it

Simple & tasty. I added mushrooms cuz I had to use some I had in the fridge, other than that followed the recipe exactly.

Excellent flavors and so easy! I will double the cheese for next time as our leftovers were a little dry yet still tasty! To perk them back up I reheated with butter.

This is a keeper. It was so delicious. Only used about 3/4 the box of angel hair pasta and used the whole tub of cheese, then added some shrimp. Next time would add a little bit more pasta water to sauce to thin it out a bit more.

The noodles would have been perfectly fine by themselves, but I always jazz dishes up, so I added sautéed mushrooms and shallot, wilted Power Greens, and some extra tomato. I just put a blackened tilapia filet on top! Very nice dinner, but we used only half the noodles and the sauce was still not quite enough for us, so if you like saucier noodles, definitely double the sauce!

This was so good! I used a half pound of angel hair pasta and cut up Campari tomatoes to add to the sauce. It was very quick and easy to make. I will definitely be making this again.

I love Boursin cheeses, so I was looking forward to trying this! I followed the recipe exactly, except for adding some mushrooms that needed to be eaten. So easy! It was yummy! My husband and I both liked it!

Needs a better quality soft cheese.
