Blackberry Clafoutis

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon butter (or as needed for greasing)
- 1 (6 ounce) fresh blackberries (or more to taste)
- cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- cup all-purpose flour
- 7 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (or more to taste)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375F (190C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish with butter.
- Place the fresh blackberries in the prepared baking dish, spreading them out evenly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs until well combined.
- Add the flour, sugar, and salt to the egg mixture, whisking until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
- Carefully pour the batter over the blackberries in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the batter is set and the eggs begin to firm up.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top of the clafoutis and continue baking for an additional 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow the clafoutis to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
