This is so easy to make and so delicious and creamy. My mom, a dedicated chocoholic, thought it was wonderful. I used mixed berries (no frozen strawberries left by the time I went shopping) and it was delicious, if seeds bother you try another fruit. Am going to try with frozen peaches next time. If you don't have an ice cream maker and want to try home made ice cream, you have to try this. Two thumbs ups!

try using vanilla lowfat yogurt being that it is already sweetened. This way u cut the fat and not the flavor. You can combine the frozen fruit and yogurt in the blender...been doing this for years!enjoy!

I don't like things too sweet, so I used 1/4 cup of golden monk fruit sweetener and enough hot water (about 1/4 cup) in the bottom of the vitamix to dissolve it. Then added 1/3 cup of heavy cream and then the 10 ounces of strawberries last. I had to use the tamper to get everything smoothed out while blending, but it came out perfect to me. Delicious!

This recipe is really versatile! I had fresh blackberries that I had to do something with so I put 10 oz through a food mill to get rid of the seeds. I mixed the blackberry liquid with the cream and sugar in a Vitamix and put in a freezer container. I did this in the morning. That evening we had perfect ice cream. It seemed more like a sorbet but it was really delicious! I was happy to find this recipe!

Excellent!! I made it in the blender with 1 1/2 quarts of frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 1/3 cups heavy cream. It made 5-6 servings. After blending I put it in the freezer for about 2 hrs (until after dinner) and it was the perfect consistency. I could scoop it easily but it held its shape. Everyone loved it.

This was amazing!! and not just because I added rum. The texture came out perfectly in our ninja! I cut back on the sugar a little and used mangoes (what I had on hand). So easy and delicious, I just had to send it to all my friends!

I love this recipe and already thinking what I can make next. This was my first time trying it. I bought some fresh cherries and used my pitting machine to take out pits, then put in freezer. I had some left over dark chocolate chips. I used the blender, put some cream in bottom, added 1/4 of sugar, handful of chips and 1 3/4 cup of cherries. Using spatula to move everything around till blended. Added rest of cream. It was soft serve good, then put in freezer for a few hours to set and was even better.

This is a really good and very simple recipe. If you've got lots of fresh, ripe fruit, this is a great way to use it up. For those that said it's too sweet, you need to adjust the sugar amount if the fruit is super ripe. Start with 1/4 cup sugar, taste, and add more it you think it's not sweet enough. I also suggest not making more ice cream than you eat that same day, as it forms little ice crystals after being in the freezer overnight and the texture is completely changed. I learned after my first batch of "gritty" ice cream, that I had to grind the sugar first. Once I did that, I mixed the ground sugar with the heavy cream to dissolve it, then added the berries. Outstanding taste and flavor. I've also used this recipe with blueberries and we loved that too!

Tastes great. I've made strawberry and blueberry, but the strawberry was definitely better. My blender isn't very good, so it takes a longer than five minutes. And it does need some freezer time to make it into ice cream. But it's a simple, easy treat.

Made this several times as strawberries are I need season. Love that there are only 3 ingredients and that I can adjust the sugar to my tastes. I find a table spoon of sugar sufficient as the strawberries are also sweet. I add on teaspoon of vanilla when mixing. This disappears quickly and I have shared the recipe with friends.

Super awesome for those with Fructose Malabsorption! I used a sugar free coffee creamer as the liquid and skipped the additional sugar, so in only two ingredients I had what I’d been missing so desperately. Thanks for the recipe!

I used no sugar or sweetener at all. With 33% whipping cream and frozen strawberries, it turned out surprisingly sweet
