Directions
Follow these simple steps to create a warm and delicious breakfast:
- Combine the water, oats, chopped apple, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as an Instant Pot).
- Close and lock the lid securely, and seal the vent.
- Select the Manual function and set the timer for 5 minutes.
- Allow 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to build up.
- Once the timer finishes, release the pressure using the natural-release method according to the manufacturer's instructions (about 10 minutes).
- Once the pressure has fully released, stir the mixture gently. Be cautious when removing the pot from the pressure cooker using oven mitts.
