This is a great recipe that can be changed up depending on what you're using them for. I added a dash of vanilla and cinnamon for our morning waffles! I added garlic and onion powder for my tuna melt. For the grilled cheese, I added a little bacon and onion seasoning. The possibilities are endless! Thanks for a great recipe! Cheddar cheese and taco seasonings for a taco burger... see... get creative!

I was making just the egg and cheese chaffles as a savoury base for bacon and tomato. Adding the almond flour and baking powder completely change the texture. I found that otherwise the chaffles are quite greasy. I was in the mood for a treat this morning, so I added vanilla to these and then had a little bit of real maple syrup over top. Absolutely excellent. I will be adding the almond flour and the baking powder to savoury chaffles as well. For the savoury ones, I like adding spices into the mix, like onion and garlic powder or even curry powder. TIP: I make my own almond milk in a Vitamix. I save the resulting fine almond powder and I bake that until it dries out and I store it in the fridge. That works really well as almond flour in chaffles and is a huge cost savings.

This was my first attempt at making a Chaffle. I made it according to directions and then I put it in my butter coated small skillet and put spinach, a slice of bacon, some sauted jalapeno peppers and some about 28 grams of cheddar cheese to melt, then added my tuna packet and it was incredible. I love sandwiches and have missed them, so this will be my go to from now on!!! Thank you for a delicious bread substitute recipe that was super easy!!!

Very good chaffle. The 1/2c cheese, however, can present a problem for some, and adds unnecessary fat. I found that by increasing the almond flour to 3T, adding 1T sour cream or greek yogurt + 1t water + 1/8t of baking powder with a pinch of salt is a great alternative and produces a dryer result.

This is great! Didn't have mozzarella, so I used Monterey Jack. The only problem I had was making the first one - using half the mixture overflowed my mini waffle maker. I can't wait to try this with other cheeses.

No Dash mini waffle makers available near me so I picked up a more traditional style. It worked great and since I plan on subbing these for bread it saves a cook cycle. Yummy.

I was really surprised by the texture and flavor. 10/10 will make again. Being on a low carb diabetic diet this is a refreshing change. I did add a little monk fruit sweetener to the second batch and was delicious.

First time making this, OH WOW! I read other reviews and added bacon for my husband's turkey burger " bun" and liston soup mix as a seasoning. Didn't have mozarella , used fiesta blend cheese. They crisp up pretty fast too!

It was a great recipe. It's super simple to mix and make. I sometimes add different flavours to it. I sprinkle it with everything Bagel before I close the lid and it adds variety to the taste.
