Tomato Bacon Squares Recipe
Ingredients

- 6 slices bacon
- 4 Roma (plum) tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 refrigerated pizza crust dough
- 3/4 cup shredded Swiss cheese
Directions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375F (190C).
Step 2: Place the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry until crisp, then drain on paper towels.
Step 3: Crumble the cooked bacon into a medium bowl. Add the chopped tomatoes, bell pepper, onion, and dried basil. Mix well and set aside.
Step 4: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and crushed garlic until smooth. Set aside.
Step 5: Roll out the pizza crust to fit a 12x15-inch baking sheet. Spread the mayonnaise and garlic mixture evenly over the crust.
Step 6: Evenly sprinkle the bacon and vegetable mixture on top of the mayonnaise layer, then top with shredded Swiss cheese.
Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the crust turns golden brown.
Step 8: Allow the pizza to cool slightly, then cut into 24 squares and serve.
