Coconut Oil Popcorn Recipe

Popcorn with Coconut Oil

Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • cup unpopped popcorn
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Sea salt to taste

Directions

  1. Place the unpopped popcorn and coconut oil in a 3-quart pot over medium heat.
  2. Cover the pot with a lid and shake it gently but constantly as the popcorn pops.
  3. Continue shaking until the popping slows down, with a few seconds between each pop. This should take around 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Once the popping slows down, remove the pot from the heat.
  5. Carefully pour the popcorn into a large bowl and season with sea salt to taste.
