Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients
- 1 cup raw whole pumpkin seeds, washed and dried
- 1 teaspoon paprika (Optional)
- teaspoon Cajun seasoning, or to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 300F (150C).
Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the pumpkin seeds with paprika, Cajun seasoning, and salt until the seeds are evenly coated.
Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to mix well.
Step 4: Pour the butter mixture over the seasoned seeds and stir to ensure they are fully coated.
Step 5: Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Step 6: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 45 to 60 minutes. Stir and flip the seeds every 15 minutes for even roasting, until they are browned and crunchy.

I was pleased with how these turned out. I prepared the seeds by boiling them in salt water and then drying them overnight before following the recipe. I found that they only needed 15 minutes in the oven to cook perfectly.

These came out really well. I omitted salt as I prefer my nuts and seeds less salty. Instead of Worcestershire sauce, I used soy sauce since I didn't have any, and it worked perfectly fine.
