Black Beans in Spicy Broth

Ingredients
- 1 pound dry black beans, soaked overnight
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 4 teaspoons diced jalapeo peppers
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- teaspoon ground black pepper
- teaspoon garlic powder
- teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Directions
Step 1: Drain the soaked black beans and rinse them thoroughly.
Step 2: Place the beans into the slow cooker.
Step 3: Add the chicken broth and diced jalapeo peppers to the slow cooker.
Step 4: Season the mixture with chili powder, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, and hot pepper sauce.
Step 5: Set the slow cooker to High and cook for 4 hours.
Step 6: After 4 hours, reduce the heat to Low and continue cooking for an additional 2 hours.
Step 7: Once the beans are tender and the flavors are well combined, serve and enjoy!
