Shrimp Chowder

Ingredients
- cup sliced celery
- cup finely diced onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, diced
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cups cooked cubed potatoes
- pound frozen cooked shrimp, thawed and drained
- 2 tablespoons dry white wine
- teaspoon salt
Directions
- Gather all the ingredients.
- In a large soup pot, heat the butter over medium-low heat.
- Add the sliced celery and diced onions to the pot. Cook and stir until the vegetables are completely softened, about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Next, add the diced cream cheese and milk. Stir over low heat until the cream cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the cooked potatoes, thawed shrimp, dry white wine, and salt. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through.
- Once heated, serve the dish warm and enjoy!
