  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • cup chopped onion
  • 1 cups ketchup
  • cup white sugar
  • cup white vinegar
  • cup prepared yellow mustard
  • teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon celery seed
  • teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Step 1: Gather all the ingredients.

Step 2: Place the ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring to crumble the beef, until it is browned. Drain the excess fat.

Step 3: Transfer the cooked beef and onion mixture to a slow cooker. Stir in ketchup, white sugar, white vinegar, and prepared yellow mustard.

Step 4: Season the mixture with Worcestershire sauce, salt, celery seed, and black pepper. Stir everything well to combine.

Step 5: Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on the Low setting for 3 hours. Let it simmer until ready to serve.
