Great experience overall, but it's worth mentioning that Famous Dave's uses Amaretto instead of spiced rum.

Use brown sugar instead of white sugar. Additionally, peel and marinate the apples in rum for at least an hour before cooking.

I absolutely loved this recipe! I was looking for a good applesauce recipe, and this one turned out to be perfect. I chilled it in the fridge, then blended some of it and minced the rest before combining them. This mixture worked wonders in a muffin recipe I was experimenting with. The result was fantastic! Thank you so much for this great recipe!

I increased the amount of rum and cinnamon, threw in a tablespoon of butter, and topped it off with a drizzle of caramel sauce. The result was absolutely scrumptious, and the recipe was so simple that I'm already looking forward to making it again.

This dish was fantastic! I paired it with fried banana and real full cream. Delicious! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

I really enjoyed the restaurants, but they were a bit too sweet for my liking.
