  • 1 (16 ounce) package angel hair pasta
  • cup sesame oil
  • cup soy sauce
  • cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon hot chili oil
  • cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, or more if desired
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced

Directions

Step 1: Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat.

Step 2: Once the water is boiling, add the angel hair pasta and return the water to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 4 to 5 minutes, or until the pasta is tender but still firm to the bite.

Step 3: Drain the pasta well in a colander set in the sink.

Step 4: In a large bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, chili oil, and sugar.

Step 5: Toss the cooked pasta in the dressing, ensuring the pasta is well coated.

Step 6: Sprinkle the pasta with sesame seeds, chopped green onion, and diced red bell pepper.

Step 7: Serve the dish warm, or cover and refrigerate it for a refreshing cold salad.
