Smoked Eggs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 large fresh raw eggs in the shell
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Preheat your smoker grill to 225F (110C). Follow the manufacturers instructions to add wood chips for smoking.
  2. Once the smoker is ready, place the whole eggs directly on the grate. Do not turn the eggs during the cooking process.
  3. Cook the eggs for 2 hours, ensuring the temperature remains consistent throughout the cooking time.
  4. After 2 hours, carefully transfer the eggs to a plate. Allow them to cool completely before peeling off the shells.
  5. Once peeled, season the eggs with salt and pepper to taste.
Recipe Tips
  • Maintain a steady temperature in the smoker to prevent eggshells from cracking. Sudden temperature changes can cause them to burst.
  • The more smoke you create, the more flavor the eggs will absorb, so feel free to add extra wood chips for a richer taste.
