Smoked Eggs Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 large fresh raw eggs in the shell
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat your smoker grill to 225F (110C). Follow the manufacturers instructions to add wood chips for smoking.
- Once the smoker is ready, place the whole eggs directly on the grate. Do not turn the eggs during the cooking process.
- Cook the eggs for 2 hours, ensuring the temperature remains consistent throughout the cooking time.
- After 2 hours, carefully transfer the eggs to a plate. Allow them to cool completely before peeling off the shells.
- Once peeled, season the eggs with salt and pepper to taste.
Recipe Tips
- Maintain a steady temperature in the smoker to prevent eggshells from cracking. Sudden temperature changes can cause them to burst.
- The more smoke you create, the more flavor the eggs will absorb, so feel free to add extra wood chips for a richer taste.
