Pan-Seared Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Brussels Sprouts with Dijon-Honey Glaze

Ingredients

  • 20 Brussels sprouts
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons dried cherries
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Directions

  1. Slice each Brussels sprout into 5 or 6 thin slices.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together Dijon mustard and honey until well combined.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet and saut for 1 minute.
  5. Pour the Dijon-honey mixture over the Brussels sprouts, then stir continuously as they cook, allowing them to brown slightly for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. In the final minute of cooking, add sliced almonds and dried cherries. Stir them in to combine with the Brussels sprouts.
  7. Season with a pinch of sea salt, then remove from heat.
