Sweet Grilled Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 slices white bread
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons softened butter

Directions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of a slice of bread and place the buttered side down in the skillet.
  3. Place one slice of cheese on top of the bread, followed by a sprinkle of brown sugar.
  4. Add the second slice of cheese on top of the brown sugar.
  5. Butter the second slice of bread on one side and place it on top of the cheese, butter side up.
  6. Cook the sandwich, flipping it occasionally, until both sides are golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
