Smoked Salmon Rice Bowl Recipe

Ingredients

This recipe yields 4 servings.

  • cup soy sauce
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon black sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 12 ounces smoked salmon, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked brown rice
  • cup diced mango
  • cup diced cucumber
  • cup diced avocado
  • cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds, or to taste

Directions

Step 1: In a medium-sized bowl, combine soy sauce, green onions, sesame oil, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Stir well until all ingredients are fully mixed.

Step 2: Add chopped smoked salmon to the marinade and mix gently. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow the salmon to marinate.

Step 3: While the salmon is marinating, divide the cooked brown rice evenly into 4 serving bowls.

Step 4: Once the salmon is ready, evenly distribute it on top of the rice in each bowl. Then, add diced mango, cucumber, avocado, and sliced strawberries on top of the salmon.

Step 5: Sprinkle black sesame seeds over the bowls for an extra crunch and flavor.
