Cheese-Garlic Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups baking mix (such as Original Bisquick)
  • cup milk
  • cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450F (232C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the baking mix, milk, and shredded Cheddar cheese. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Using a spoon, drop 9 spoonfuls of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
  5. While the biscuits bake, melt the butter and mix it with the garlic powder.
  6. Once the biscuits are done, remove them from the oven and brush the warm biscuits with the garlic butter mixture.

Cook's Note:

For high altitude (3500-6500 ft), no adjustments are needed for this recipe.
