Cheese-Garlic Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 cups baking mix (such as Original Bisquick)
- cup milk
- cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 450F (232C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the baking mix, milk, and shredded Cheddar cheese. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Using a spoon, drop 9 spoonfuls of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- While the biscuits bake, melt the butter and mix it with the garlic powder.
- Once the biscuits are done, remove them from the oven and brush the warm biscuits with the garlic butter mixture.
Cook's Note:
For high altitude (3500-6500 ft), no adjustments are needed for this recipe.
