Ingredients:

  • 20 large tiger prawns with shell
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon brandy

Directions:

Step 1: Start by washing the prawns thoroughly, ensuring you leave the shells and heads intact.

Step 2: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, minced garlic, and brandy. Stir the mixture well to combine.

Step 3: Arrange the prawns on a shallow dish. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the prawns, making sure they are evenly coated.

Step 4: Fill a pot or wok about halfway with water and place a steamer basket over it. Bring the water to a boil.

Step 5: Carefully place the dish with prawns onto the steamer basket. Cover the wok and steam the prawns for about 10 minutes, or until they turn opaque and are cooked through.

Step 6: Serve the prawns hot, garnished with any remaining sauce from the dish.
