Chicken with Swiss Cheese and Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • cup milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) package dry bread stuffing mix
  • cup melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Top each chicken breast with one slice of Swiss cheese.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup and milk, then pour this mixture over the chicken breasts.
  5. Sprinkle the dry bread stuffing mix evenly over the chicken and soup mixture.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the stuffing mix, then cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake for 50 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink and the juices run clear.
