Quick and Easy Chicken Lazone Recipe

Quick and Easy Chicken Lazone Recipe

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

This recipe yields 4 servings.

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 pinch salt to taste

Directions

Step 1: In a shallow dish, combine the garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

Step 2: Add the chicken strips to the dish and toss them until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.

Step 3: Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the seasoned chicken strips.

Step 4: Cook the chicken, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides, approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Once done, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

Step 5: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Reduce the heat to medium and let the sauce simmer until it has reduced by half, about 5 to 7 minutes.

Step 6: Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and stir until it has completely melted into the sauce.

Step 7: Return the chicken to the skillet and cook until it is heated through, making sure it is well coated with the creamy sauce.

Step 8: Season the dish with salt to taste and serve hot.
