Spicy Canned Tuna Fish Cakes Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 (12 ounce) can tuna, drained
- cup chopped scallions
- cup dry bread crumbs, or as needed
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha
- Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350F (175C).
- In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, chopped scallions, bread crumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, Sriracha, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture sticks together well.
- Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Carefully add the patties and pan-fry until they are deeply browned and crispy, about 3 minutes on each side.
- Transfer the patties to a small baking tray and place in the preheated oven. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until the center of the fish cakes is firm and fully cooked.
