Tuna Alfredo with Penne Pasta Recipe

Tuna Alfredo with Penne Pasta Recipe

Cook Time: 16 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup penne pasta
  • 24 ounces tuna, drained
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
  • 2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender but firm to the bite, approximately 11 minutes. Drain the pasta and return it to the pot.

Step 2: In a skillet, place the tuna over low heat. Season with onion powder and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the tuna is lightly browned.

Step 3: Stir the cooked tuna into the pasta in the pot. Pour in the Alfredo sauce and mix well to combine the ingredients.

Step 4: Garnish the dish with grated Parmesan cheese and serve.

Recipe Tip

Be careful not to overheat the Alfredo sauce as it may burn if left on high heat for too long.
