Air Fryer Salmon and Asparagus for One

Air Fryer Salmon and Asparagus for One

Cook Time: 11 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (6 ounce) salmon fillet, thawed if frozen and patted dry
  • pound fresh asparagus, trimmed

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, stir together honey, olive oil, mustard, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the ingredients thoroughly to form a slightly thick sauce.
  2. Brush half of the marinade onto both sides of the salmon fillet, making sure it is evenly coated.
  3. Place the salmon fillet in the air fryer basket and air-fry at 400F (200C) for 4 minutes.
  4. After 4 minutes, open the basket and arrange the asparagus around the salmon fillet, taking care not to cover the fish.
  5. Brush the remaining marinade over the asparagus and on top of the salmon fillet.
  6. Continue air-frying at 400F (200C) for an additional 6-7 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked through and the asparagus is tender.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed it. I will definitely be making it again. I cooked the salmon for approximately 8 minutes.

Extremely tender and juicy; simple to cook. My husband declared it the best salmon he's ever tasted!
