This recipe is fantastic! I recommend trying it with smaller pieces of steak for an even better result. You may want to reduce the amount of pepper in half. I marinated a 3 to 4 pound brisket for about 3 hours and then grilled it, resulting in a very delicious and excellent flavor!

I tried this recipe with a 1/4 cup of brown sugar added, and I substituted soy sauce for Worcestershire sauce when I ran out, and it turned out amazing!

I absolutely adore this recipe! The only alteration I make is reducing the amount of pepper by half, as it can be a bit too overpowering otherwise.

The only modification I made was omitting the onion salt and using a thinly sliced whole white onion instead. Make sure not to overlook the importance of using Red Wine in this recipe, either a Burgundy or a Cabernet will work perfectly.

I absolutely love this oven brisket - it's almost as good as Texas smoked brisket! I always use a trimmed brisket with a little fat on one side, and when I bake it, I make sure to place the fat side up. Such a delicious treat!

I had to make some adjustments in cutting the pepper, however, I absolutely adore the liquid smoke flavoring. The recipe didn't specify the marinating or cooking times for the Brisket, so I was a bit puzzled. With only an hour to marinate, I browned the brisket on both sides in a skillet, poured on the marinade, and then covered the rest with beef broth. I cooked it on the stovetop over low heat for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. The result was absolutely wonderful!

My family absolutely adores this marinade. I slow-cooked my brisket in the crockpot for approximately 7 hours, and it turned out absolutely fantastic.
