Air Fryer Keto Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or more to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper, or more to taste
- 4 boneless pork chops, 1/2-inch thick
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Avocado oil cooking spray
Directions
Step 1: In a medium bowl, beat the egg until smooth.
Step 2: In a separate bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, almond flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.
Step 3: Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 4: Dip each pork chop into the beaten egg, ensuring it's fully coated. Then, dredge the pork chop in the Parmesan-flour mixture, pressing lightly to ensure an even coating.
Step 5: Place the coated pork chops into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spritz with avocado oil cooking spray.
Step 6: Cook the pork chops in the air fryer at 375F (190C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the coating is lightly browned and crispy.
Step 7: Flip the pork chops and spritz them with more cooking spray. Continue cooking for another 3 to 4 minutes, until the pork is no longer pink in the center. An instant-read thermometer should read at least 145F (63C) when inserted into the center.
Recipe Tip
If using bone-in pork chops, increase the cook time by about 2 minutes to ensure they are fully cooked through.

Simple to prepare, but the breading got stuck to the air fryer despite spraying both the basket and the pork chops. Disappointing experience.

Good. The first side turned crispy, but the second side remained soft, resulting in a soggy texture.

I cooked the boneless chops in the air fryer for 10 minutes on each side, followed by an additional 3 minutes. I skipped the salt and pepper, but went for paprika instead. Each chop weighed about 6.5 ounces. The result was moist, crispy, and packed with flavor.
