Baked Spaghetti Squash Recipe

Baked Spaghetti Squash Recipe

Cook Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 spaghetti squash, halved and seeded

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (175C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
  3. Place the spaghetti squash, cut-side down, onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the squash, until the skin is easily pierced with a fork and the flesh is tender.
  5. Remove the squash from the oven and allow it to rest until cool enough to handle.
  6. Using a fork, scrape out the flesh from the squash and discard the skins.

Cook's Note: You can add more seasonings before baking, but for extra flavor, I usually spice it up afterward.

Easy preparation and delicious results. I mixed it with shredded chicken in a flavorful curry-coconut sauce.
