Easy Air Fryer Apple Pies Recipe
Mini Apple Pies in the Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts (2 pie crusts)
- 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar, or to taste
- 1 serving cooking spray
Directions
Step 1: Begin by placing 1 pie crust onto a lightly floured surface. Roll out the dough using a rolling pin until it's even.
Step 2: Use a 2 1/4-inch round biscuit or cookie cutter to cut the dough into 10 circles. Repeat this process with the second pie crust to create a total of 20 pie crust circles.
Step 3: Take each circle and fill about half of it with apple pie filling. Be careful not to overfill the circles.
Step 4: Place a second pie crust circle on top of each filled circle, forming a mini pie. Press the edges of the pies down gently to seal them, using a fork to crimp the edges.
Step 5: Brush the tops of the mini pies with the beaten egg. Then, sprinkle cinnamon sugar over them, adjusting the amount to your taste.
Step 6: Preheat your air fryer to 360F (175C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Step 7: Carefully place a batch of the mini pies into the air fryer basket. Be sure to leave enough space between them for proper air circulation.
Step 8: Air fry the mini pies for 5 to 7 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Once done, remove them from the basket and repeat the process for the remaining pies.
Step 9: Serve the mini pies warm or at room temperature, and enjoy the delicious, crisp, and fruity treat!
Recipe Tip: If the apple slices in the canned pie filling are large, cut them in half before filling the mini pies. You can also use other fruit pie fillings in this recipe for variation.

I made these tonight, they were very good and super easy. The only thing that I would like to say, never ever should you spray your airfryer basket with cooking spray. It ruins the coating. I put them right into my basket and they didn't stick at all.

Made these with caramel apple pie filling. Made them 3.5" to make them a little bit bigger. Made 9 not 10. Delicious and easy to make as well as it's already serving size.

My husband really liked these! I put a little cinnamon/sugar on the crust, too.

This was a very simple and sweet treat. I added more cinnamon and nutmeg to the apple filling for taste. Will be making these again but will cut and use real apples instead of the can filling for a better taste.

Delicious! The only change I would make is to make circles bigger to use the dough & pie filling. 10 barely made a dent in the pie filling especially. They were really good though!

I cooked about twice as long in my air fryer. I opened the fryer three times to spray and flip.
