  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups very soft butter
  • 3 cups chopped pecans
  • cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar for rolling

Directions

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375F (190C).

Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, mash together the flour, butter, chopped pecans, and cup of confectioners' sugar until the mixture is fully combined and forms a soft dough.

Step 3: Take about 2 teaspoons of the dough for each cookie and roll it into a -inch ball.

Step 4: Place the dough balls on ungreased cookie sheets, ensuring they are evenly spaced.

Step 5: Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden brown, while the tops remain pale.

Step 6: Allow the cookies to cool completely before rolling them in the remaining 1 cup of confectioners' sugar.

This recipe is just awful. The cookie crumbles apart easily. There are too many dry ingredients and it lacks any flavor. Complete waste of ingredients.

This was challenging and it didn't even turn out cooked!
