- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- teaspoon salt
- teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400F (200C).
- In a small bowl or measuring cup, combine the milk and vinegar. Stir well and let it sit for about 10 minutes, until it curdles.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Add the curdled milk mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until a smooth dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times. Shape the dough into a disc.
- Place the disc into a preheated cast iron skillet or any oven-safe pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes, or until the crust feels firm to the touch and is lightly golden.
