Cook Time: 7 minutes
Ingredients
- Cooking spray (Optional)
- 5 eggs
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 4 ounces Black Forest ham, chopped
- cup finely chopped green onions
Directions
- Lightly grease or spray a large skillet with cooking spray and place it over medium heat.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture into the heated skillet, swirling the pan to ensure it evenly coats the bottom.
- Cover the skillet and let the eggs cook undisturbed until they are firm, about 5 minutes.
- Once the eggs have set, sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese, chopped ham, and green onions evenly over the eggs.
- Gently fold the omelet in half, encasing the filling inside, and cook for an additional 2 minutes to melt the cheese and heat the filling through.
- Remove the omelet from the skillet, cut in half, and serve hot.
