Chaffle Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 large egg
  • cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Step 1: Preheat a waffle maker.

Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk the egg and stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese until the mixture is well combined.

Step 3: Pour half of the batter onto the preheated waffle maker. Use a spoon to spread it out evenly from the center.

Step 4: Close the waffle maker and cook until the steaming stops and the chaffle is nicely browned, about 3 minutes. Be careful not to overcook, as this may result in a chewy texture.

Step 5: Repeat the process with the remaining batter.

Cook's Note: A small and affordable Dash mini waffle maker works perfectly for making chaffles.
