Updated Review: Our new family recipe for pancakes is a hit. They turned out tender and delicious, with all the ingredients readily available in my pantry. I decided to double the recipe, but even then, if this is meant for 8 servings, each pancake ends up being quite small. To ensure a hearty breakfast for everyone, I recommend doubling or tripling the recipe to suit your family's needs. These pancakes puff up beautifully while cooking, yet they remain light and fluffy. Following the tip not to overmix the batter and letting it sit for 30 minutes post-mixing before frying really pays off, resulting in a perfectly thick and smooth batter. Update: We love this pancake recipe even more now. I experimented by preparing the batter the night before, storing it in the refrigerator, and cooking the pancakes in the morning. This method worked like a charm and was incredibly convenient, especially on busy mornings. I wholeheartedly give this recipe a 5-star rating, particularly when doubling the ingredients. Adjusting the serving size to 16 instead of 8 makes it more suitable for 4-6 servings, providing a more satisfying breakfast experience.

This pancake recipe has been my favorite for years. I occasionally like to enhance it by adding blueberries to the batter. I can't understand why people would prefer a premade mix over these basic ingredients. Not only are these pancakes almost perfect, but they are also more cost-effective. Once you've made them a few times, you won't even need to refer to the recipe anymore.

This pancake recipe has become a staple in our family! Our favorite tweak is adding 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract for a subtle flavor enhancement. For a fun twist, halfway through cooking, we mix in a couple of tablespoons of Nutella to create delectable chocolate hazelnut pancakes. Absolutely fantastic!

After years of searching for the perfect pancake mix recipe, I have finally found it! This recipe creates thick batter that results in wonderfully fluffy pancakes once cooked. I was hesitant about adding vinegar, so I opted for lemon juice instead. I wasn't sure about the quantity, but it turned out just right. The lemon juice transformed into a fantastic buttermilk substitute, producing some incredibly thick and delicious pancakes. Absolutely loved it!

I used to make these pancakes for years. In an effort to reduce carbs, we stopped making them for a couple of years. When I tried making them again tonight, I hesitated to add the melted butter because I didn't recall it being part of the recipe before. However, I added it anyway and the pancakes turned out to be a disaster. They were not fluffy, they were flat, and they lacked the delicious taste we remembered. I now realize that skipping the melted butter is the key to our classic fluffy pancakes.
