First time making waffles and they turned out fantastic. I definitely see the difference when you separate the yolks and whites. This recipe is fantastic.

I have tried making this recipe twice now. Coming from a background of only eating Eggos and receiving a waffle maker as a Christmas gift from my husband, I was excited to try it out. The first time I made these waffles, I followed the instructions exactly as written. While they were good, they didn't quite reach the level of "OMG these are amazing!" that I was hoping for, hence my 4-star rating. Today, I decided to give the recipe another shot, but this time I took into account the suggestions from the reviews. I adjusted the ingredients slightly by using 4 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of vanilla, 1/2 cup of butter (1 stick), and 1 3/4 cup of milk to make the batter easier to pour. The result? Absolutely amazing waffles! What a difference these small changes made - I now consider this a 5-star recipe. They were a hit with everyone and disappeared quickly! I also want to share a tip: the first time I made this recipe, I sifted the flour and beat the egg whites and yolks separately in an attempt to make fluffier waffles, as recommended online. However, I found that skipping these extra steps today didn't affect the texture or fluffiness of the waffles at all. So, save yourself the trouble and enjoy the waffles as they are. Happy cooking!

As a waffle novice, I had low expectations for this recipe since I had only ever tried frozen Eggo waffles before. However, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by how delicious our breakfast turned out this morning! While I can't compare it to other recipes, we both enjoyed it. After noticing that this recipe called for double the salt compared to others, I adjusted the amount and also whipped the eggs well to create a lighter texture. The waffle turned out perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a great flavor. The only downside was that my waffle maker tends to cook unevenly, so some parts were a bit too browned. Perhaps with more practice, I can get the batter spread more evenly next time.

I found this recipe to be fantastic! It turned out wonderfully crispy and delicious. I made a couple of changes – I used oil instead of butter to save on cost, and the batter turned out just as good. I also increased the amount of vanilla as I found the batter a bit too eggy for my liking. I only added 2 and a half teaspoons of baking powder and the pancakes still rose perfectly. Overall, it's a great recipe, even with my modifications :)

The waffles were incredibly tasty! Even my teenage daughter couldn't get enough of them. Thank you so much!
