Excellent! I loved this tasty breakfast! I'm making it again tonight. This is so versatile, you can easily use different fruits or milks. I made it with non-fat milk last night, but tonight I will use almond milk. The consistency is perfect. I might use a tiny bit less cinnamon (personal preference), but other than that, the ingredients are spot on. Yum!

I make this frequently…. I make four at a time, but leave out the blueberries. When I’m ready to eat it, I add blueberries, frozen or fresh. Very satisfying for breakfast or lunch!

I love this recipe and make it frequently with a few substitutions including Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk, 0% Milkfat Plain Greek Yogurt, Maple Syrup and I change up the berries (fresh or frozen). Using 1/2 pint wide mouth mason jars makes portioning easy and the size is perfect as a snack or breakfast meal.

I actually made 4 servings with the full fat coconut milk instead of yogurt, I also added a few drops of vanilla. In 2 of the jars, I put banana, with cocoa powder (1 tsp) and instant coffee (1/4 tsp) and swapped out 1/2 of the chia for ground flax. The other 2, I put unsweetened applesauce with cinnamon and other spices. I added a 1/2 scoop of vegan protein powder. They all looked really dry so I splashed some filtered water in each before mixing.

This has become my daily breakfast with a couple of minor modifications. I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 T of Splenda (instead of honey), 2 T of flax seed meal (instead of chia seeds) & 1 full cup of frozen berry blend. I set up a whole weeks worth of breakfasts in 5 minutes, it’s low cal (262), high fiber, high protein, high in HDL, filling AND delicious! My nutritionist gave me a big thumbs up on this recipe.

I have been making this for a while now, back when the original recipe called for 1 full teaspoon of cinnamon. I have never changed that, but have made many different modifications depending on what I have in the kitchen and to suit my needs. I’ve increased the milk on 1/2 cup ( and use plant based milks) then add 1tablespoon each of flaxseed meal and almond protein powder to increase protein and fiber content. I have used frozen berries off any type, chopped fresh apple, peach, mango or a combination of them for the fruit. Plus I usually line up about 5 containers, so I’m pretty well set for breakfast for the work week. Love this stuff 😍

I substituted the cinnamon for pumpkin spice since I didn’t have any and it is so good. I also don’t add the fruit until I am ready to eat so it’s crispier and gives more texture.

Too much cinnamon. I suggest you just shake it in until it looks like a good amount to you. Anyway, I make changes to suit my toddler with intestinal issues. Instead of milk, I fill 1/3 c. measuring cup most way with prune juice, then to top with milk. the other 1/3 cup is flavored kefir and milk mixture. I also use 1 tbsp ground flax seeds instead of chia to add a smoother texture (toddler's choice) and I use a bit of maple syrup instead of honey to round it off. So I guess that's lots of changes, but the spirit of the recipe is still there.

This is a breakfast favorite. I used 2 cups coconut milk to 1 c rolled oats and 1 c Greek yogurt. It's creamier and less dense with the chia seeds absorbing the liquid to plump up.

Of coarse I had to make changes, coconut milk in lieu milk, and goat yogurt replaced Greek yogurt (only because that is what was in the frig). Both the wife and I loved it with blueberries and bananas, which were folded in the next day.

The base recipe is perfect. Sometimes I make it as is, but I also use frozen mixed berries a lot. It's great either way.

I sometimes double the milk(oat milk) and add 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder to get another 15 grams protein per serving
