Antipasto on a Stick Recipe
Ingredients:
- 8 bamboo toothpicks
- 8 slices of salami, rolled
- 8 (1/2 inch) cubes of mozzarella cheese
- 8 pitted black olives
- 4 grape tomatoes, halved
- 4 marinated artichoke hearts, drained and halved
- 8 leaves of fresh basil, rolled
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil (or to taste)
Directions:
- Take the bamboo toothpicks and start threading the ingredients onto each skewer in the following order: salami roll, mozzarella cube, olive, tomato half, artichoke heart, and basil leaf.
- Once all ingredients are threaded onto the toothpicks, arrange them neatly on a serving platter.
- Drizzle olive oil over the skewers just before serving to enhance the flavors.
