Antipasto on a Stick Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 bamboo toothpicks
  • 8 slices of salami, rolled
  • 8 (1/2 inch) cubes of mozzarella cheese
  • 8 pitted black olives
  • 4 grape tomatoes, halved
  • 4 marinated artichoke hearts, drained and halved
  • 8 leaves of fresh basil, rolled
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil (or to taste)

Directions:

  1. Take the bamboo toothpicks and start threading the ingredients onto each skewer in the following order: salami roll, mozzarella cube, olive, tomato half, artichoke heart, and basil leaf.
  2. Once all ingredients are threaded onto the toothpicks, arrange them neatly on a serving platter.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the skewers just before serving to enhance the flavors.
