Shrimp Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans beef broth
  • 2 (10.5 ounce) cans shrimp consomme
  • 2 cups frozen shrimp, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill weed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the chicken broth, beef broth, and shrimp consomme.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer and then strain the broth to remove any solids.
  3. Return the strained broth to the pot, then add the thawed shrimp and fresh dill weed.
  4. Allow the mixture to heat through, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust the seasonings with salt and pepper as desired.
  5. Once heated, garnish the soup with chopped green onions before serving.
