Air Fryer Roasted Cauliflower Recipe

Air Fryer Roasted Cauliflower Recipe

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 4 cups cauliflower florets

Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 400F (200C) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Cut the garlic in half and smash it with the blade of a knife.
  4. Place the smashed garlic in a bowl with peanut oil, salt, and smoked paprika.
  5. Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the seasoning mixture.
  6. Transfer the coated cauliflower into the basket of the air fryer.
  7. Cook for about 15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
  8. After 15 minutes, check for your desired crispness. If you prefer softer cauliflower, cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Recipe Tip

If you like a more tender texture, you can cook the cauliflower for a bit longer, but remember that cooking times depend on the size of your florets. Check frequently for the perfect crunch!

Delicious! Watch carefully, as if you are using smaller florets they will be almost burnt crispy at 15 minutes. We loved this recipe and will use it frequently. Three cloves of garlic sounds like a lot, but it definitely not over-garlicky. Delicious!

I had to use olive oil, and it took about 3-4 tablespoons, upped the spices. Next time I'll put it all in a big baggie to coat better and probably use less. Took just about 15 minutes. I ended up adding about 1/4 cup of onion to add some more flavor - if you are strict keto, make sure to count those carbs, but it really made it much better IMO. Thanks so much for the great recipe, needed a new twist on this keto staple.

I love cauliflower and in the air Fryer it was quick, easy and delicious. I substituted olive oil for the peanut oil as I didn't have any.

I used Olive oil and lemon juice with the seasonings and it came out delicious! Did 20 minutes, my pieces may have been larger but I wanted them more tender.

Added a few additional seasonings with lemon juice (& capers) & substituted active nutritional yeast & pine nuts. SO yummy!

No way is this recipe intended for fresh cauliflower. The first time I made this was with a head of fresh cauliflower in a FrenchMay 3.7 qt 1500 watt air fryer. After 15 minutes at 400F it turned into incinerated cauliflower which stunk up the house for days. The second time I made this recipe was with frozen cauliflower florets at 400F for 15 minutes and the cauliflower came out pretty decent. And the directions to preheat your air fryer makes me wonder if recipe writer understands the concept of air frying, or if they have ever used an air fryer.

I used mild Chili Powder instead of Paprika. Flavor was amazing. Rest of recipe was the same.

Great flavor. As the recipe says, the cauliflower is still crunchy after 15 minutes. I will give it more time to make it softer next time. Great recipe!

I did add some grated parm for protein and extra flavour. Not bad for a quickie dinner.

I made it as written as it was my first time. Very easy, quick, and tasty. I might try it with a different oil just for fun.

This was GREAT. But read others and take the advice... DO NOT bake for 15 minutes. 8 to 10 is fine. Add the Chili powder like someone else recommended. Fantastic

This was just ok. I made it as directed and think that it needed additional seasonings. I won’t be making it again.
