Great flavor and texture - it was nice to do something different than the same old green beans. Because I've tried it and liked it on asparagus, I sprinkled them with Parmesan cheese before roasting them at 425 degrees, about 18 minutes, then gave them a finish under the broiler for a couple of minutes. I'm thinking a squeeze of fresh lemon would be good too!

I used the air fryer for this recipe- very good. Next time I will use less oil though. I reheated them in the air fryer the next night and they were even better! 02/03/24 Just wanted to remind myself to preheat air fryer to 375 and cook 7 or 8 minutes. I only used 1 tsp oil for 1 lb of beans but still a tad too much. I may just try using my Misto next time - still yummy tho!

We really liked them. I did them in the air fryer at 375 for 5 min. less. We ate some like this and added Parmesan at the table for some and liked them too.

These are my new snack food. They easily take the place of munching on chips. This time I bought 2 pounds bc a pound was gone in a flash. I covered my large cookie sheet with foil (easier cleanup) and after drying the beans shook them in a big lidded plastic bowl with the olive oil. Then I shook a good amount of Paula Deen seasoning on them and roasted them as instructed. I did stir them once and at the end turned the broil on to brown them a tad. Repeat with any other veggies you have such as squash, broccoli, carrots, red peppers. These are also great sprinkled cold in salads.

Loved these beans! I don't normally care for fresh green beans but this recipe just changed my mind! The only thing i changed was adding parmesan cheese during the last five minutes of baking.

Excellent. I sprinkled with fresh grated Parmesan Cheese during the last min of cooking and another sprinkle when I pulled it from the oven. Fantastic!

Been making these for years but with twist. In your food processor, grind a cup of hazelnuts or cashews into a powder, add to the oiled beans and roll to coat. Gives them a whole new demeanor.

My family enjoyed this alot, I tried it this way first then I started adding onion powder. Garlic powder, smoked paprika, and a little bit of cayenne not alot and it was near perfection. I love roasted veggies 🥰.

Very easy and a great side dish! I add a sprinkle of both onion and garlic powder and a little melted butter to the beans in a bowl before tossing and spreading on the sheet. Sometimes I top with a grated parmesan and broil before serving ; sometimes I add a squeeze of lemon juice at the end.

Thick straight beans, left long, 2 TBL olive oil in bag, 25 turns of black pepper, maybe 1/2 tsp sea salt. 2 foil-lined trays at convection roast 400 degrees, started with 20 - 25 minutes, use less oil next time. Reheating in foil or microwave left soggy beans. 2nd time, much less beans, 1/2 tsp herbes du provence, 1 tsp olive oil, 5 turns pepper, no salt. Same time and temp.

I made these using Lawry's seasoned pepper in place of the regular pepper. 15 minutes was perfect. These are delicious and I'll definitely make them again. Thanks for a great recipe!

Quick easy recipe! Definitely a keeper. I added a bit more seasoning; garlic powder and onion powder. Roast on parchment paper and clean up is easy too. Will make again!

I added a little more spices to mines than just the basic salt and pepper. I added some veganized taco seasonings to the green beans.

Simple, which is the stage I'm at in life currently. I need to just commit this to memory as "how to cook green beans" so I don't even need to pull out the recipe. Just trim beans and throw in a sheet pan, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, toss with hands, and roast for around 20 minutes. I think I can remember it...
