Quick Tomato Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 leaves lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced

Directions

Step 1: In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, mayonnaise, salt, and hot pepper sauce. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well-blended.

Step 2: Toast the slices of bread in a toaster until golden and crispy.

Step 3: Spread the prepared ketchup mixture evenly over all 4 slices of toasted bread.

Step 4: On one slice of toast, layer a leaf of lettuce, followed by 3 to 4 slices of tomato. Place another slice of toast on top to form the sandwich.

Step 5: Repeat Step 4 to assemble the second sandwich using the remaining ingredients.
