I combined freshly squeezed lime and orange juice, along with honey and sugar to create a simple syrup. I boiled it for a bit longer to reduce the water content, and found that the proportions worked well.

My husband tried an orangeade at a nearby restaurant and requested that I recreate it at home. Following the original recipe, I found the orange flavor a bit lacking, as some other reviewers also noted. Taking their advice, I incorporated the juice of 2 extra oranges and let it chill overnight. The next day, my husband tasted it and proclaimed it to be absolutely perfect.

I decided to double the recipe, while sticking to the original instructions. The result was absolutely delightful! It brought back memories of a popular fast food chain's orangeade that my friend Andy and I used to enjoy on the east coast. The addition of lemon provided a refreshing citrus twist and balanced out the sweetness perfectly. Overall, it was a truly delicious experience!

I had an abundance of fresh oranges, so I tried out this recipe as a different way to enjoy them aside from just juicing. I doubled the amount of orange juice and added extra lemon for a more tangy flavor. The result was a very refreshing and delightful drink.
