How to Make Ramen Broth Recipe

Cook Time: 70 minutes

Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
  • 6 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

Directions:

Step 1: Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Step 2: Add the mushrooms and chopped onion to the pot, cooking until the onions become transparent, about 5 minutes.

Step 3: Pour in the vegetable broth, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Step 4: Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and cook for 1 to 3 hours. The longer the broth cooks, the more flavorful it becomes.

Cook's Note:

If you prefer a smoother broth, feel free to skim the vegetables out before serving. However, they can also be kept as a topping for added texture.
