Cheesy Chicken, Broccoli, and Rice Casserole Recipe

Chicken and Broccoli Casserole
Yields: 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 cups water
- 1 cups uncooked instant rice
- 2 large cooked chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed cream of broccoli soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350F (175C).
- Bring 1 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the rice, stir, then cover and remove from heat. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until the water is absorbed. Fluff the rice with a fork.
- Transfer the rice to a casserole dish, and mix it with the cooked chicken and broccoli florets.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine the condensed soup, milk, bread crumbs, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the soup mixture over the rice, chicken, and broccoli in the casserole dish. Add of the shredded Cheddar cheese and mix everything together.
- Sprinkle the remaining Cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
- Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and bubbly.
