This is fantastic! My husband and son raved about it and couldn't wait for leftovers. Delicious flavors and wonderfully moist. For those of you who weren't that impressed, use teriyaki baste & glaze (not just a sauce or marinade) -- it's thicker and adds much more flavor than a marinade. No need to marinade over night or hours before if you use this. I used Kikoman baste & glaze and Hidden Valley ranch lite, with real bacon(low salt) crumbled. I didn't fry the chicken - I just spooned on the baste & glaze to both sides of the chicken & then spooned on the ranch, with everything else following. Great with an angel hair pasta with sauteed garlic, tomatoes, onions, and spices.

So I have made this before, I tweaked it where I think a lot of you are going to like it better. I decided to butterfly my chicken breast and then pound them to be thin. I don’t know why but when you heat up the bacon, teriyaki and ranch dressing in the oven it makes this delicious sauce! I double the amount of ranch dressing and teriyaki sauce. If you use full ingredients it will be a little bit salty so LS teriyaki sauce, LS bacon and light ranch dressing. I found that if it’s the full chicken breast browning takes forever, the thin chicken takes seconds.

Like other reviews, thought it an odd combo but my family loved it. I did n't find it overly salty (soy is salty inherently). i used kikkoman teriyaki baste and glaze as it has a far lower sodium content. After I browned the Chix, i sauteed 2 green onions, 1/2 leek and portabello mushrooms. Then followed directions, baking 20 min and then adding cheese for final time. I served it over angel hair pasta with a caesar salad. It would be nice over rice or mashed potatoes as well as there is plenty of sauce. My husband said it's a keeper!

I was scared to try this recipe because the combination of ingredients did not sound appealing, but finally gave it a shot because of the good reviews. We all loved this dish! The only things I did differently was use chicken tenderloins, marinated the chicken for 30 minutes in the teriyaki sauce and baked in the oven for less time since using tenderloins. This was a great easy recipe! Surprising how good it was.

This was so easy and delicious! Definitely making this again. Instead of bacon bits, I cooked up bacon and then cut it up and garnished the top. While the chicken was cooking, I used some of the bacon grease to cook some vegetables like bell pepper, onion, garlic, and mushrooms with no seasonings because of the bacon juices. After the chicken was done cooking I served the chicken and vegetables over linguine noodles.

Never thought of teriyaki and ranch together...Delish!!! Added cheese on last halfway through baking, and put it over brown rice! The teriyaki and ranch made a yummy sauce I drizzled over everything.

I've made this dish several times now & my family likes it. I don't change anything when making a recipe for the first time. However, after reading the reviews I decided to divide the dish (1st time) when I made it. One dish was exactly as it calls, and the other with a slight "tweek". The "tweeked" dish won my family over. I only did a few simple things different: 1) used a low sodium teriyaki, 2) mixed teriyaki with ranch & tossed chicken in it, 3) used real bacon, 4) covered with foil. when baking.

This is a definite keeper and will do well for a company dinner. I marinated the chicken in the Teriyaki basting sauce for 2 hours and added the ranch dressing to the remaining marinade prior to spreading on the chicken breasts. I used regular bacon that I had cooked previously. I covered the casserole dish with foil and baked 35-40 minutes due to the size of the chicken breasts. The chicken was very flavorful and moist. I served with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. The sauce was great on the potatoes. Thanks VICKI.

Awesome!! I used Yoshida's teriyaki and mixed the ranch in with it and included crushed pineapple which made it delicious. Everyone loved it and I will definitely make it again.

I would wait to add the cheese until the last 10 minutes to avoid it getting too dry. Great flavor combo between the teriyaki and ranch.

very good recipe! Easy because ingredients are what I normally have in stock. Would have like more of a gravey (per hubby) but other than that very good. I did use the recommendations of others to use real bacon and brown chicken in the bacon fat. I also added the cheese and bacon the last 10 minutes. Thanks for the recipe!

I did not brown the chicken breast first. I put the chicken breast with all the ingredients directly into the oven. I did omit the bacon. Everyone loved the chicken .

Everyone loved it. I used GSP (garlic salt & pepper) on the chicken. I made it exactly as the recipe says except I mixed the teriyaki sauce with the Ranch. I made it with rice and used some of the extra sauce to cook with the rice.
