Turkey Burger Recipe
Ingredients

- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 cups seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, grated, and juice drained
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons applesauce
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 hamburger buns, split
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375F (190C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, grated onion, eggs, applesauce, chili powder, paprika, and kosher salt. Stir until the mixture is fully blended.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the patties into the skillet and cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned.
- Remove the cooked patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
- Transfer the patties to a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the center of the patties is no longer pink and the juices run clear. An instant-read thermometer should register at least 165F (74C) in the center.
- Serve the turkey burgers on the split hamburger buns.
