Fried Sesame Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 2 cups corn oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- cup water
- cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 teaspoons salt
Directions
- Rinse the chicken under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut the chicken into 1x1x inch pieces.
- Fill a deep fryer with corn oil, ensuring its no more than one-third full. Heat the oil to medium temperature.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg and add the water. Stir well to combine.
- Mix in the flour, sesame seeds, and salt. Stir until the batter is smooth and well combined.
- Dip the chicken pieces into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Carefully add the battered chicken to the hot oil in small batches. Fry for about 4 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove a piece from the oil to test for doneness.
- Once fried, remove the chicken and drain it on paper towels.
