Air Fryer Salmon from Frozen Recipe

Air Fryer Dijon-Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:

  • cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • teaspoon kosher salt
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • teaspoon freeze-dried dill
  • 2 (12 ounce) frozen salmon fillets, skin-on

Directions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390F (199C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, minced garlic, kosher salt, black pepper, and freeze-dried dill until the mixture is well combined. Set aside.
  3. Place the frozen salmon fillets, flesh-side down, into the air fryer basket. Cook in the preheated air fryer for 6 minutes.
  4. After 6 minutes, flip the salmon fillets over. Brush of the sauce onto each fillet, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Continue cooking the salmon for an additional 6 minutes.
  6. Once the salmon is cooked, brush the remaining sauce over the fillets. Cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

This product really elevated the flavor profile! My only reservation is whether a touch of lemon juice in the mixture or drizzled on top after cooking would enhance it even further. I didn't capture a photo since I'm cooking for one and my plating skills were lacking!
